My dog's been fine with it (although fortunately it didn't hit Philly too hard), but the cats, not so much. Same cowering and hidding reaction.
Hahahaha! He looks so sad and pathetic! (Though, I admit, it kinda makes me feel better about how he tried to bite my face off once.)

Aw, that is terrible. My cats don't hide, but when a close lightning bolt hits, they pee a little where they stand. Its. Uh. Great.
see greg, that is one of the many reasons why i don't have cats. although, monster sometimes will spontaneously puke for no reason so i guess pets are gross no matter what species.
